Now I know why you've been so busy :) This is fantastic, Pala. In fact, it's such a good idea that I'm surprised no one's done it before. I will share and share and share...
Are you kidding? It’s brilliant. And I’m wondering if reaching out to groups that, yes, are media, but don’t toe the “company line” like Rolling Stone or that online offshoot of the National Park Service that went viral for not capitulating to Trump (can’t find them, looking). Something adjacent, with reach.
I just DM'd Adam Kinzinger and sent him your post. If you're good with me doing this, I'll look for those here on Substack who have visibility, the right attitude about what we're facing, and a public voice.
Wow, truly amazing idea that could work! Organizing and fighting fire with fire (social media-wise) are necessary! Together, we can overcome! Thank you, Pala!
We at Earth Viability Center not only agree with you but we have been working hard on a platform to do just what you are arguing for. We are currently ready to launch, i.e. we so far have had only a handful of users who have been mainly testing and asking for new functions ... nut we are now ready for lots of users. Please email me at barryclemson@icloud.net so we can talk about next steps. And THANK YOU!
The problem is the Republicans messaging strategy is the opposite, hit em hard with lies, and is legal. How do you get rid of the infotainment that magats are convinced is news?
The only way to convince Republicans that their infotainment is actually dangerous disinformation is to be louder than their 'news' networks. And the only way to do that is through collective effort.

Thank you so much, Beth! I'm not 100% sure that no one's done this before. But I couldn't find anything—and was surprised myself.
I'm thrilled you like the article—and I really appreciate you sharing it!

Maybe we should move to the chat…
Is it Alt National Park Service?
YES! YES! YES!! Thank you, Irene!
Alt National Park

Very interesting!
I’ve thought this issue over and my solution would be forming a nonprofit organization that ‘certifies’ information that is truthful or accurate.
Hi Harry, thanks for sharing your thoughts! Are you aware of any promising projects in this 'certification' direction?
Unfortunately not—just something I have in the back of my mind for a potential future endeavor.

I could do this
Great! Get involved, organize - find suitable people and organizations to partner up with. Anyone taking on this challenge is a win for humanity.
Excellent idea. I would love to have something like this. I am however, not the person to organise it.
You should check out what Robbie Lockie is doing with FoodFacts.org
Interested.
